The players to the right of the net will start out with the puck. Ist player on each line will skate out of the zone, around the off-sides face-off dot, and turn back in. 2) The player that started with the puck will now pass to the other player as they turn back in. The player receiving the pass crosses to TO THE INSIDE of the passing player. The passing player will cross TO THE OUTSIDE. This will set the players up to cross the blue line on-sides. 3) THE PLAY MUST ENTER THE ZONE ON-SIDE OR THE WHISTLE WILL BLOW. 4) Both the players will skate toward the net. The player with the puck can pass or shoot. The non-shooting player will be looking for the rebound. 5) After the shot/rebound, the players will return to the opposite line from which they started. Objectives: Teamwork. It doesnt matter which player shoots the puck but it needs to be the one who had the best shot. The Goalie has to commit to one player therefore leaving an opening somewhere. FIND THAT OPENING! Skills: skating, passing, shooting. |
